It was all Sam fault. Its always Sam’s fault if you ask Dean.
It was simple, attack the lair, and kill everything, no prisoners, no questions, this creatures were profiting off of kidnapping humans and selling them as livestock; they’ve found a crumb path of mutilated bodies; And not only civilians, hunters and other creatures too.
Why Sam thought he could make one of them change and give him information? Even if it had a every innocent face it won’t happen.
