lets start with the fact that Claudia, Mel's best fiend is getting married, so she had a bachelorette party to organize, and she had to headquarter at my parents because its closer to Claudia's, imho that's the first mistake, because gave parents a unnecesary scoop on her private life.
Second she was geting home over 11 everyday and dad got kinda pissed, instead of going home and leave parents alone she stayed there and kept doing it, second mistake
Third, dad is being a bastard ever since I came back and this days he's getting just worse, so on friday night he said something to my sister who replied she's not a child and that she'll do as she please, because that's teh rules he told us when we were kids. IMHO that started everything because dad thinks he's the center of the unierse and that even Sum must ask him for permission, mother said dad kept screaing and telling that he made mel what she is now and that he had the right to have an opinion, and at some point it changed into "I was sick and you have no idea how it feels" well sister does knows, she was worse than he was, still he's the center of the universe, remember? this escalated until mom was crying and sister said "fine if that's what you want i'll leave".
and she came here to talk to me about that, she was evensaying how sorry she was for the things she said until my dad and mother entered without knocking, they followed her, I'm not mentioning something else War has been staying with me since she's doing an internship in a bak near my place, so she was here too. I tried to stay aside of the main event and instead offered mom a coffee and helped War with her stuff, then I heard my name was on hte discussion and went there, noticed mom and war were about to cry and told my dad to stop using me to fight and keep quiet or my neighbores will call th epolice, Dad just yelled that from all his shames I was the one that should stay quiet.
that we owe him respect, I then told him that I will respect him for being my father but that his tantrums were damaging my mom too and if he really wanted respect sa a man he should earn that respect.
Sister said "you have to understand we're not scared kids anymore" because it was different before, and we used to start shaking crying and we felt bad for days,not anymore.
His answer killed me, he said: "I'm asking only to be respected and you better respect me or I'll beat you until you do respect me" mother came and said "enough!! that's it, yu went too far" and he said "I don't care" that far I remember, next thing I knew he got close to Mel and I had him by the neck while screaming I'd not let him touch her or me or anyone else.
