I come from a couple that has a gap of 18 years, they spend their lives*and ours, sibs and I* fighting over the difference, my mother music, my dad ideas, where to go why, when, if it was stupid, if it was the best for us, if it was just my mother will, if it was my dad old fashioned ideas.
To me, age difference is the same than problem, so no age difference or at least not more than two or three years.
