Story: Crazy Love
Crazy Love 1
***
Jared was almost asleep on Jensen’s couch. They watched the re-make of Arthur movie while waiting for SportCenter. They didn’t say anything about the movie. It wasn’t bad, funny and a bit too romantic for two guys to watch by themselves. Jared sighed.
“What?” Jensen asked opening his eyes drowsy
“Nothing” Jared mumbled. “Can you imagine having someone like that?”
The silence was not at all what he wanted.
“I know I have someone.” Confessed Jensen and Jared’s heart broke, the lump on his throat was painful and his eyes filled with tears. “The sad part is that he doesn’t know.”
Jared finally found his words. “How does it feel like?”
Jensen moved to get some candy from the table, not because he was hungry, it was because he needed something to do with his hands or he’ll try again to reach for Jared’s.
“I could hear his heartbeat from a thousand miles” his eyes were fixed on the door, the same door he magically opened when he was carrying Jared in his arms. “And when I finally found him, heaven opened when he smiled.” Jared sat paying attention. “And when I come to him, it feels. It’s like. That’s where I belong”
Jared smiled “How can’t he know?”
“I don’t know” Jensen looked into his eyes
“I guess you don’t feel an empty space in your heart anymore. He must fill everything.”
“Yes!” Jensen answered “he makes me righteous, I can’t even think on bad things, I have to be worthy of his love. And yes. He makes me whole.” Jensen let out a chuckle “I grew up among dominants, all males all big manly men but the second I found him, He…” and made a face and moved his shoulders “he makes me mellow right down to my soul.”
Jared smiled, biting his bottom lip and facing the TV. He reached the Twizzlers and chewed one slowly
“He’s a dumbass if he doesn’t know. If he doesn’t know he doesn’t deserve you”
Jensen chuckled and changed subjects. “You trust me. You don’t trust anyone.” And taking the candy from Jared’s hand faced him “Why?”
Jared cleared his throat and tried to make it a joke. But he just couldn’t. “I don’t know. I just feel like.” And his eyes finally reached Jensen’s “Like you care.” And it was too much. So Jared scrunched his nose and laughed. “That’s so weird.” And he sat back taking the Twizzlers from Jensen.
“Yeah. Weird” Jensen got up, sounding angry and moved to the kitchen.
Jared saw him and after a moment of hesitation moved behind him.
“What happens? Is this because of the guy that doesn’t know it’s your mate?”
Jensen didn’t turn. He passed a hand over his face and mumbled a yes.
“It’s killing me, because I’ve dreamed about him since I was just a kid, and he doesn’t even know.” Jensen turned showing his eyes red. “But hey. Maybe I’m just messing things up, maybe there’s no real bond.” Jensen smiled sighing. “Maybe there’s no real reason to wait.” Jensen smiled, but the smile didn’t really reach his eyes. “I’m fine, I will be.” Took a glass and went to the fridge. “You want something? SportCenter is about to start.”
Jared felt miserable, he could feel Jensen heartbroken. He decided to help.
It started with the first commercial; he made the silliest comments, the funniest voices. The most stupid noises, he had Jensen laughing in no time.
“Stop you dork.” He said and Jared was under a rain of pop corn.
“Who are you calling Dork? I have a fine sense of humor” Jared ate some pop corn from his shirt. Jensen laughed
“You’re funny. In occasions”
“Ha! I’m hilarious.” And without thinking he added, “If we were together you’ll laugh all the time.”
Jared felt something warm and when he looked up. Jensen held his jaw and kissed him.
Jared pulled away and Jensen stayed in the couch while his young mate was up.
“Oh My God, No!!”
Jensen finally looked up wanting nothing more than to say he was sorry but hoping that maybe, maybe for the grace of God Jared would feel the same.
“Jared, please…”
Jared was pacing and flapping his arms around.
“I AM the dumbass!!”
Once more he was mumbling nonstop about being stupid and something about not being worthy and being sorry for hurting Jensen, saying he was not ready, saying he didn’t want a mate like that.
“Like what? Me?”
Jared finally stopped and turned to Jensen. “This is not about you.” Jared blinked. His breathing was way too fast. “This is absurd!”
And he left the house without any explanation.
***
It was cold and the snow left almost everyone trapped in their houses.
Jensen was one of those who could go out, because he was almost crazy thinking that maybe that little moment of weakness had ruined his only chance to have his mate with him. So he fought against the snow and went to work, to stop playing the scene over and over in his head and under the weird hope that Jared will come to the coffee shop
“You should’ve stayed at home, Jensen.” offered his boss, the only person in the place. “Don’t you have a final grade paper to work on or something kid?”
Jensen had no idea of what to say.
Then someone pushed the door, and the waft of chilling cold air gave Jensen goosebumps. And the stranger mumbles something behind covered face.
“What?”
“Oh, Sorry.” The guy unwrap the scarf that was around his head.
“It’s open, right?” and blue eyes blinked behind white peppered long lashes.
“Please have mercy and tell me I can have a coffee or something.”
Jensen had to smile and invited the guy to come over to the counter. He could see how the poor man was shivering.
“Hope you’re okay with coffee, because there’s nothing else”
Jensen offered the guy a cup of coffee.
“Bless you man.” Without any reason the guy held Jensen’s neck and pulled him close kissing his cheek with almost frozen lips. He explained that he was left in campus to finish some loose ends for his friends. “Someone wronged my family and we have to finish that. That if I don’t die frozen before I find the reason why I am here.”
Jensen chuckled and placed a mug in front of the man.
Contrary to what he thought he almost had fun that day, almost.
The guy, Jeff, was hilarious. He was Sociology major and he graduate two years ago, and had the most twisted sense of humor Jensen had found this century.
“By any chance is your last name starts with a P or a T?”
Jeff asked looking at Jensen’s eyes and lips. And he made a disappointed noise when Jensen shook his head no. The faint shadow of a blush made him smile none the less.
“DAMN!” and sighing “sometimes I kinda lose hope.”
Jensen understood what was happening.
“You feel it? Your soulmate?”
Jeff looked at him again, smiling.
“You have a soulmate too little brother?” and smiling “could it be me?”
And scoffing and looking away.
“I’ve been waiting for so long. I came here because I saw this university in a dream. And something like green eyes, it could be you.”
Jensen actually blushed.
There are theories that submissive and dominant are just tags people use now, tags that back in the days where it as irrelevant as political inclination or choice of water brand.
And this guy, either dominant or not had something that made Jensen act like back in the days when he was dating Kevin.
“I have a soulmate too.” Jensen offered as all explanation. “I already met him. He’s just not sure about wanting to be with me.”
The guy frowned and looked straight to Jensen’s soul through his eyes. “You’re one of the fucked by nature huh?” Jensen nodded.
They talked for hours, until Jensen’s boss was ready to leave.
“I’m going now J.” The boss looked at Jensen with a smile. “You should do the same, its freezing cold and you might have a better time at your place”
Jeff laughed hard, so hard Jensen was speechless.
“No; sorry little brother. You said you have a soulmate, and I respect that.”
Jensen felt at ease after that and even started enjoying the conversation again. He found a lot of useful information from his new friend. Jeff came from a city where the traditions have endured and the idea of soulmates was not endless suffering.
Jensen found himself sitting next to Jeff with his eyes closed trying to find Jared.
“Concentrate, if you know him, it’ll come to you.”
And Jensen did as he was told.
It’s like a real trip. He walks streets to Jared’s dorm. He sees the street number and the name on the mail box. Jared Tristan Padalecki. He could almost feel the stairs. He could see a dark room and a bowl half full of pop corn, Arthur on the TV in front of him and a raggedy breath filled his ears.
The fever felt like it’s been on him for days. Jared was sick. But he had something clear in his head. He didn’t want to call Jensen. Not after what happened.
Jeff heard it out of Jensen’s mouth and frowned.
“DAMN! Little brother, I’m so sorry.”
Jeff then got up put a 20 dollars bill on the counter and walked out in a hurry.
Jensen didn’t give it any importance. He just put the mug on the dishwasher and set everything to close.
The walk home was worst than he thought it’ll be. He felt fear and something else, a sense of uneasiness, as if he forgot something, he even went back to check the locks.
Then it hit him, Jeff had something, he had Greek letters on his sweatshirt.
Those were the same letters from Stephen’s house. He felt breathless and he ran desperate, he said everything, from Jared’s name to his address and everything.
He ran like a mad man, he even called Campus security.
***
Jared felt stupid, he tried so hard not to fall for Jensen, and he deep down knew it was too late, he fell for Jensen the second he woke up, naked in his bed, when Jensen feed him and gave him his clothes, he felt ashamed. He just promised himself nobody ever again will control him the way Stephen did, and here he was desperate to bend over for Jensen.
And being sick like a dog wasn’t helping, he missed Jensen’s company even more.
That’s why the second he felt someone else in his apartment he freaked out. He heard his name and heard steps outside his door.
He even ran to open it. Just to find a man out there, a known face. And someone he never thought he’d have to face again.
It took Jared a couple minutes to escape the man’s arms, telling him that he was sick and didn’t want to pass him his flu.
“Bah, little brother. A fucking flu is not gonna stop me from hugging you.”
Jeff explained Jared that once he heard about the connection with a real soulmate he understood what his baby brother had seen all the time.
Every time Jared claimed there was someone in the closet talking to him he must have heard the other person.
“I even understood why you couldn’t be with Stephen, I mean aside of the violence and shit.”
Jared chuckled. “Dad said I should endure a little bit of roughness…” Jared informed.
“The Hell you are!!” Jeff shouted and once he paced the room a couple times to calm himself he sat.
“I had a vision, Jay, a vision of my soulmate in this campus.” And Jeff moved to the window. “His name start with a P or a T or something like that, I’m not sure.”
Jared laughed.
“Remember the watermelon lip gloss mess?” Jared sat and was wringing his hands. “I met the guy too. But he’s so fucking perfect. Why would he want me!?”
Jeff laughed. “Because he loves you.”
They could hear steps outside the door and Jensen entered pushing the door open.
“Hello, little brother.” He smiled at Jensen. But he was still ready to kill
“Get away from him.”
The warning, the growl in Jensen’s voice did something to his mate’s libido. Jared moved aroused.
“Why?” Jeff was in front of Jared. But he was smiling
“That sweatshirt, he’s not gonna go back to that frat house.”
Jared scoffed. “Jeff is my brother, Jensen.” and crossing his arms in front of him. “And you have no right to crash in to threaten him.”
Jeff laughed. “You two need to solve things out, right?” And slowly Jeff marched to his baby brother. “I’ll call you tomorrow Jay, I’m going back to my hotel.” Jeff hugged him. “Don’t be a fool, don’t waste time, he loves you, you are crazy about him, have sex or something.”
And then the taller man moved to Jensen offering his hand.
“Hello, I’m Jeff Padalecki, nice to meet you, you better take care of my baby brother.”
Once alone Jensen felt like an idiot and Jared stared at his feet.
“Umm, I should go” Jensen walked toward the door. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to run your brother out.”
Jared chuckled. “Have you seen him?” Jensen did, Jeff was built like a line backer and was even taller than Jared. “Nobody will run him out of nowhere unless he wants to leave.”
Jensen sighed. “Are you feeling better?”
Jared felt like crying because Jensen who only had cute pet names and endearments for him was cold and distant and didn’t even once try to get close or touch him. He just nodded.
“Glad to hear that.” And after a second of hesitation he said good bye and left closing the door behind his back.
Jared doubted for a second and before chastising himself for not wanting to look like something out of a Bridget Jones movie he took a bath, he changed clothes and took his car in order to visit his soul mate.
Jensen opened to find a Jared standing nervous at the other side of his door, one hand on his hair, the other holding a tissue.
“I am afraid.”
“Hello to you too.”
“No, seriously, I am, was afraid that you could have the same power over me that Stephen had.”
“Get in Jared, you’re shivering.”
Jensen closed the door and Jared didn’t take his jacket off.
“I let him rule my life. I let him do whatever he felt like. I can’t do that anymore.”
Jensen wasn’t paying attention; he already had a warm blanket for him when
Jared took off his wet jacket.
“Do you want something hot? I have fresh coffee.”
Jensen ignored Jared’s attempts to talk.
“One would think that after working on that coffee shop for three years I’d hate it, but I actually love coffee.”
And slowly he moved to the kitchen.
“Jensen, I’m trying to say.”
“It’s okay I don’t want you to do anything you don’t feel ready for. I’m not Stephen.”
“I know. I know that. I was just afraid.” Jared couldn’t face Jensen.
“Afraid I’d force you into something?” Jared just nodded. “I’d never do that. I love you.”
Jared started crying. “Even after I acted like such a jerk?”
Jensen smiled. “Maybe because of that, you acting like a jerk. I love you and I would never make you do anything you don’t want, because I don’t want to make you do things.” Jensen moved closer to caress his face. “I want to help you do whatever you want to do.”
Jared sobbed and held Jensen’s arms. “I am afraid… of loving you too much, I know how it hurts when you love someone too much.”
“I love you…” Jensen answered. “You have me crazy, and I’ll only give you love, nothing more than love and nothing else, for as long as you want me.”
Jensen closed the distance between them and kissed Jared. This time none of them wanted anything else.
***
Jared let Jensen caress his body, he found himself naked in matter of minutes, his entire body felt electrified with every touch, and every caress.
Right now those amazing lips were sucking marks on his chest while Jensen’s hands were tweaking his nipples. He felt breathless and desperate.
“Please Jensen, please.” He begged in ragged breaths.
Finally it made sense. The voices heard. The sensations felt. The images.
Everything had carried them both to this, to the feeling of completion, to the feeling of not being alone.
Of course everyone feels that when they have sex. You do too, right?
But this was different because the feeling of being stuffed full Jared felt was more than just lust and carnal pleasure.
The feeling of tight delicious slick heat around him was more than just the grip of Jared’s ass for Jensen.
This was the union, the companionship they missed since they were kids.
“I love you” groaned Jensen when he came.
Jared was too high in post orgasmic bliss to respond, but he felt the same.
He felt it too, the heaven opened when Jensen smiled.
“What are you smiling for?”
Jensen asked Jared only shrugged and cuddled even closer, if that’s possible.
“Thinking that I actually feel like this is where I belong.”
Jensen smiled and kissed his lovely mate’s forehead.
“I know, right?”
Both chuckled.
“Having you here, with me…” and caressed long brown locks “you take away my troubles. You take away my grief.”
Jensen kissed his nose.
“You take away my heartache.”
“Enough, you Sap.” Jared kissed him.
The end
